Enterprise Hardware
All VPS accounts run the latest release of CentOS Linux 5 and include full root access, cPanel/WHM, Fantastico, Virtuozzo Power Panel, and private nameservers. WiredTree strictly limits the number accounts to ensure all environments are highly responsive.
Our VPS servers use only the highest quality server-grade components. Every VPS server uses dual-core Intel Xeon Clovertown processors (8 CPUs). Combined with 12GB+ Fully Buffered DDR2 memory and server-grade SuperMicro motherboards, the performance and reliability of the hardware is unmatched. To ensure a high level of disk performance and data security, we use 8 hot-swappable SATA II Raid Edition disks with NCQ in RAID-10 on Areca RAID cards.
Hybrid Servers
We also offer Hybrid Dedicated Servers for those who need more resources than our standard VPS plans. Hybrid Dedicated Servers feature an abundant amount of resources for a very affordable price. They are a very good alternative to an entry-level managed server, providing enterprise-level features and performance unmatched in their price range.
Flexibility
Clients can seamlessly upgrade between VPS and Hybrid Dedicated plans, making them an excellent option for less intensive sites which are beginning to grow, and seasonal sites which require more or less resources at different times of the year.
