Specialized Hardware
All VPS accounts run the latest release of CentOS Linux 6 and include full root access, cPanel/WHM, and access to Grove. WiredTree strictly limits the number accounts to ensure all environments are highly responsive and resources are not overbooked.
Our VPS servers use only the highest quality server-grade components. Our VPS servers uses dual quad-core Xeon CPUs including the latest generation Westmere-EP (8 Physical CPUs w/ 16 Virtual CPUs). Combined with ECC Registered memory and SuperMicro motherboards and chassis, the performance and reliability of the hardware is unmatched. To ensure a high level of disk throughput and redundancy, we use 8 Hot-Swap SATA II Raid optimized drives w/ NCQ in battery-backed RAID-10 on each system using the latest and most powerful Adaptec RAID cards.
We then go a step beyond the competition and accelerate all of our nodes using SSD caching technology. This brings your server to a new level of performance and ensures fast and smooth response page load times for your visitors. We employ a minimum of 120GB SSD cache for each node using enterprise SSDs from Intel and Samsung.
Flexibility
Clients can seamlessly upgrade between VPS and Hybrid Dedicated plans, making them an excellent option for less intensive sites which are beginning to grow, and seasonal sites which require more or less resources at different times of the year.
