WiredTree support technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through toll-free phone support and help desk. Every WiredTree server comes with complete software support as well as proactive security updates and patches.
This level of support is perfect for those with little or no system-administration experience as well as for expert system administrators who wish to outsource these responsibilities. We take care of your server so that you can run your business.
Fully Managed:
All WiredTree accounts come with fully managed support for all software packages that are installed on the server when you receive it. This includes complete support for the operating system, kernel, control panel, system utilities, our ServerShield server hardening package, and all system daemons such as Apache, MySQL, SSH, etc. In the event of a problem or configuration issue our technicians will be happy to log into your server and fix the issue for you. We also provide limited support for other popular third-party applications such as IonCube, Zend Optimizer, Shoutcast, and more. Security Updates:
All WiredTree accounts come with proactive security updates for any supported package on your server in which a high-risk vulnerability is discovered, such as root-level kernel, SSH, control panel, or similar vulnerability. WiredTree staff constantly monitors many security information outlets including web sites, vendor mailing lists, security mailing lists, and forums to learn of new vulnerabilities as they are announced. When a new vulnerability is announced, we immediately take preventive measures, such as patching, firewalling, or hotfixing systems to prevent against an attack, and then update all vulnerable packages when an update is made available. We take the security of your server very seriously.
WiredTree also performs updates to the latest supported version of all other managed packages, such as PHP, control panel, system services, etc. upon request.
While our standard fully managed package meets most of our clients needs, it does not meet all. We also offer an even higher level of support through our application management package.
