WiredTree emerged in June 2006 to change the game for hosting services. The goal was to provide our clients with a superior managed hosting environment through unmatched customer service, innovative network design, a unique suite of services, and the most advanced server hardware.

To realize this goal, we created a solid support structure to better respond to client issues. With years of experience in the industry, we knew what worked and what didn’t, and we used that knowledge to enhance and streamline the support experience.

Zac Cogswell

Zac Cogswell

President

Zac graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Telecommunication Management from Michigan State University. Prior to WiredTree, Zac spent four years as Director of Dedicated Services at a large hosting provider where he was responsible for the technical, marketing, and sales aspects of the dedicated and virtual private server product lines. He brings twenty years of experience to the WiredTree team.

Eric Hartsock

Director, Customer Service

Eric Hartsock has been working with Linux based systems for over 8 years. His passion for all things Linux lead him to WiredTree where he has since been for 5 years. He started as a Linux Support Admin, ultimately working his way up to his current role. By providing solutions for customer issues, he strives to make every Support interaction the best it can possibly be.

John Kata

General Manager, Support

John has 9 years of experience in Linux server administration and the hosting industry. John is responsible for overseeing WiredTree’s Technical Support department, ensuring that all customers receive timely, accurate, and courteous assistance from our team. John is also a licensed Private Pilot and loves skiing!

Calvin Bell

Manager, Billing

Calvin, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, joined WiredTree in 2011 and moved into a management role after learning the ins and outs of the hosting industry. He has 11 years plus experience in providing excellent customer service.

Yanina Petkova

Manager, Support

Yanina joined WiredTree in 2011. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience with Linux and Information Security. She successfully completed a Computer Forensics and Information Security Program, and is currently a holder of the CISSP, Linux Administrator, and Network + certifications. When she is not overseeing the amazing support team WiredTree is known for, Yanina enjoys biking, yoga, and cross country skiing.

Chris James

Manager, Support

Chris has been using Linux for over 10 years. After graduating from Ohio State University with a BA in Computer and Information Science he joined WiredTree as a System Administrator. In his role as a Support Manager, Chris ensures our clients receive the top quality support and service they expect from the WiredTree team.

Dan Uber

Manager, Support

Dan has been using Linux since 1996, and joined WiredTree in Summer 2013 after graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Mathematics. He’s constantly watching our processes and configuration for chances to optimize and improve them.

Pat Hannon

Infrastructure Engineer

Pat Hannon was brought onto the team in 2011, having extensive experience in datacenter design and implementation. Since then he has been integral in planning WiredTree’s datacenter and network growth.
